Youthy

When I was younger, I would always put music on while getting ready to go out. Turn the volume up and go on with the procedures, while movin' to the rhythm. These days, being quite busy and all grown up and shit, I'm always doin' things in a rush, tryin' to make everything on time, so this youthful -and quite exhilarating I must say- habit of mine is kind of long gone. But I think I'll try it again today with this. I feel like it.

Saturday night and all.

Take me to the circus

We've seen deep&disco before (here and here) and we've seen Heion before (here) as well. But we've never seen them together. This is what they sound like when combined.

In the middle of winter and it feels like mid-summer. Thank you guys.

Spiced-up O'Jays

In 1976 the beloved O'Jays dropped a Message in the Music which included the "Darlin' Darlin' baby" track for the hopelessly romantic (and -let's face it- kinda mushy ones) out there. More than 30 years later, this sweet tune fell in the hands of JKriv, who did some work on it and came up with this.

I think I'll stick with this one for now, turn the volume up a little and honor the sound of the O'Jays, with a little spice of the nowadays. And then I'm gonna go with this one, a favorite track from Alan Dixon's dubby point of view.

And then I'll probably smile like the corny bastard that I am.
