Freda's right

Band of Gold may be Freda Payne's most known hit, but this one comes closer to the soul.

What I adore about it is that despite that it's smooth and holds no impressive outbursts, it still gives you the chills throughout.

Pure love.

Bass stop vol.2*

Fatback Band rules. That's a given. Now let's if Mookie has a chance.

This is his take on Fatback Band's "Do the Bus Stop", clean, contemporary, groovy and keeping all the good stuff from the original.

Mookie, you rule too, man!

*Bass stop vol.1 was this gem.

Talking back to the night

I truly have no words for this one.

If a dream could be translated into sound, it would sound like this.

There's also a dub mix available, but it doesn't stack up against the original one.
Oh, and there's your sample

Supersoul

Super fresh, super summerish, super cool new album by Dutch funkers Tristan with soul, funk, jazz blends and this loved one standing out.

It's kinda difficult to keep your feet back on the ground with Heston's smooth voice, but it's doin' the trick.

Resurrection (?)

Today is the first day after 11 days, I can actually sit (and not lie) down, turn the pc on, write a few words and listen to some music, feeling (close to) healthy. Between surgeries, hospitals and doctors, I haven't listened to one single sound -besides that of my cell phone- in 11 days. Eleven days, man.

Takin' it slow and dubby.
